The Rise of the Tibetan Plateau exhibition is systematically divided into six parts: the plate movements of the Earth, the movement of the Indian-Australian plate and the evolution of the Tethys Ocean, the hypothesis of the secondary collision between India and Eurasia, the rise of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, Herringbone fauna, and today’s Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.

The Qinghai-Tibet Plateauhas transformed into "the Roof of the World". In the exhibition, scientists show researches of various fauna on the Plateau to verify the height differences in different periods, and to further reveal the rise of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
